The Art Points Airdrop is an initial distribution of Art Points to digital art collectors who have paid royalties over the past two years, starting from June 2022, and held tokens for extended period. It aims to reward supporters of the digital art ecosystem.

Who is eligible for the Art Points Airdrop?

Eligibility for the Art Points Airdrop includes all generative art collections and AI art collections listed on Artacle that have produced sales since June 2022. Collectors who have paid royalties greater than 0.5% of the listing price are eligible to earn points. Additionally, collectors who have held tokens from collections listed in the ARTCL and ARTCL AI indices for an extended period. The longer the holding duration, the more points are generated. Transfer and sales events reset the duration counter.

How are Art Points distributed during the Airdrop?

During the Airdrop, listing sellers earn 90% of the Art Points from a transaction, while listing buyers earn 10%. Offer acceptors earn 100% of Art Points from a transaction. Additionally, collectors with the Artacle OG status receive a 15% boost in their Art Points.

How do I claim my Art Points?

The claiming process is straightforward. You only need to do it once after the initial airdrop to confirm your participation. After that, new Art Points will be earned automatically without any further claiming required. See Claiming for concrete steps.

What if I don't want to connect my vault?

delegate.cash is supported, thus there's no need to connect your cold wallet directly.

What is the Artacle OG boost?

The Artacle OG boost is a bonus that provides an additional 15% Art Points to eligible participants during the Airdrop. This boost is designed to reward early and active supporters of the Artacle platform. An Artacle OG generated and activated an Artacle key back in 2022.

Can I receive Art Points from all types of digital art collections?

The Airdrop initially focuses on generative art collections and AI art collections listed on Artacle. While these collections are prioritized, additional earning campaigns may include other types of digital art in the future.

Are there any conditions for earning Art Points post-launch?

Yes, post-launch, the scope for earning Art Points includes all generative art collections listed in the ARTCL index and all AI art collections listed in the ARTCL AI index. Royalties paid must be at least 50% of the recommended amount to qualify for earning points. You also earn Art Points for holding tokens from the list of collections.

How are Art Points allocated between listing buyers and sellers post-launch?

Post-launch, listing sellers earn X% of the Art Points from a transaction, while listing buyers earn Y%. Initially, X is set to 75% and Y to 25%, but these values will change over time. Additional bonuses apply for using the Artacle marketplace and other qualifying activities.

What are the benefits of using the Artacle marketplace for earning Art Points?

Using the Artacle marketplace provides a +30% boost in Art Points earnings. This incentive encourages collectors to engage with the Artacle platform, fostering a more vibrant and active digital art community.

Will there be ongoing opportunities to earn Art Points after the Airdrop?

Yes, after the initial Airdrop, there will be continuous opportunities to earn Art Points through various activities such as paying royalties, holding art tokens, minting new digital art (soon), and participating in earning campaigns (soon). The earlier you engage, the more points you earn, as points generation is adjusted based on activity. The Artacle platform will regularly update and introduce new ways to earn points.
