Introducing Art Points:

With the launch of Artacle Marketplace, we intend to focus our efforts on supporting artists and collectors who see the opportunity to be a part of the industry's growth and success.

Artacle Marketplace is now available for buying and selling select generative and AI art collections. Artacle works like other secondary marketplaces, and we will continue to add features in the coming months to reach parity with, and eventually surpass the functionality of other NFT marketplaces focused on top tier collections and artists.

Alongside Artacle Marketplace, we are launching an “Art Points'' program that seeks to reward collectors and creators who support the long term growth and sustainability of our industry. Art Points are available to claim and earn in two categories: long term holding of specific collections, and paying of royalties when selling or buying pieces from those collections.

We believe that the most successful collectors look at art collecting as a long term investment, and we think they should be rewarded for holding pieces off the market for extended periods of time. As such, we have developed an algorithm that rewards Art Points to wallets that have held specific collections. The longer a wallet holds these pieces, the more Art Points they will be able to claim.

When pieces eventually do trade, we believe that collectors should offer royalties to the creators in a manner that incentivizes the artist to be able to pursue the creation of their best work over a long term career.

The Artacle team has collected many works through the early years of the generative and AI art movements, and believe that our ecosystem has suffered from the removal of artist royalties. With the launch of Art Points, we intend to reward collectors who have paid and continue to pay royalties when they sell their pieces.

It should be noted that Art Points will reward the entire digital art economy, regardless of the NFT marketplace. You can continue using your favorite marketplace, and as long as royalties are paid, you'll earn Art Points.
